Tuacahn Amphitheatre Alum, Emily Grace Tucker is teaming up with us to bring you a free virtual painting class during our time of social distancing. Some of you may recognize her from last season.  She played ARIEL in The Little Mermaid, LIESL in The Sound of Music and JANE and RAPUNZEL in Disney’s When You Wish.

When Emily Grace is not performing, she owns a small painting business and she teaches classes in New York. The arts community as a whole is being greatly affected by impacts of Covid-19 especially non-profits, but we are working together, staying home, and social distancing. Trying to help bring an end to the crisis so we can get back to working together and creating together again in person.

In the meantime, She’s coming to you live on Instagram from her own apartment in NYC. Everyone is invited! Kids, adults, your neighbors, share the link with your friends and family. You can donate a little something to Tuacahn at the end if you have a good time and want to show your appreciation. You will have fun. Painting is fun!

This class is going to be held on FRIDAY, APRIL 24, 2020 AT 5PM MDT on Tuacahn’s Instagram Live @tuacahn.amp. If you would like to participate all you have to do is gather a couple of supplies!

1) a paint brush (1 or 2): if you can, get a small one and a slightly bigger one.

2) acrylic paint - primary colors: red, yellow, blue, white, and black

3) a canvas - sizes will vary, I suggest no smaller than 8 x 10 but it can also be much larger.  Whatever you can get your hands on.

We ask that you SAFELY acquire these items. You can usually find these items as a beginners set online at most retail stores like Walmart, Target, Michael’s or you can also order them on Amazon.
