Follies 20/20: Where we attempt something we've never done before out of sheer boredom

Actually, it's because our Follies 20th anniversary show is ready to go, and now it has no place to land but on the shelf till the Egyptian opens the doors again. We have a cast of creative people who are going stir crazy. We have time on our hands. We wanted to reach out to the community and say "Hi. We hope you are doing OK. Let's try to have some fun." We are hoping people miss the arts, the laughs, the fellowship and will remember to support the Egyptian Theater.

WHAT IS IT? It's a viral, live-ish, online Follies show co-hosted by Tom Clyde and Paul Tan. Watch some new videos we've prepared and re-watch some old favorites. Tom and Paul will introduce the videos with behind the scenes commentary and historical perspective. Remember Poop Fairy? Remember how ashamed people are now to leave those bags of crap behind? Oh wait, it didn't work? Well, we tried.

WHEN: Friday, April 24th at 8 PM. What would have been our Opening Night on the Egyptian stage. All you have to do is be here, at Follies2020.com to watch the show.

WHO: The Follies cast. The Follies creative team. The people around town who were willing to be in a video and trusted us with their reputations. Don't worry, we've only ruined a few.

AND STILL TO COME: We will be putting on the 20th anniversary show in late October (hopefully). The topics, skits and songs may remind you of a gentler, more innocent Park City....when traffic and crowds and housing were a big concern. Wasn't it so lovely? We're looking forward to seeing everyone packed into the theater, side by side, ready for a good time (cough cough).

ACHTUNG! What would a Follies show be without a warning? Note, there is somewhat "adult" content to some of the videos. So we'd suggest a bit of maturity on your part to partake. Or gather the kids around and plan on doing some explaining. I mean, we're all homeschooling now right? Might as well include Sex Education.
