The workshop, taught by film pulicist & producer Elisha Gustafson, will focus on various marketing strategies producers and film teams can work on during development, production, and post production, as well as helpful tips on festivals, sales agents, distribution options and knowledge regarding qualifying your film for awards such as the Independent Spirit Awards, PGA, DGA, Oscars, BAFTA or critic’s circles.

Along with general information and helpful tips on marketing your film, personalized strategies and options can be prepared for each film participant that can help each filmmaker at various stages in their filmmaking process.  This is also a great workshop for filmmakers currently in early development as they plan their budgets and marketing strategies early on the give your films the best chance at being seen by the right programmers, critics, sales agents, buyers, and audiences.
