Due to recent events regarding COVID-19, we have decided to cancel our Grand Youth Summer Camp this year. Instead, we are offering a free, two-week digital theatre intensive for 12–19 year old students.
Grand Youth Theatre In-Action Intensive

A free, two-week digital theatre intensive in which 12–19-year-old students have the opportunity to train with professional artists and hone their skills, make professional connections, make friends with other students and continue to actively explore the power of theatre creation — in an online learning environment.

WHEN: June 15–26, 2020 (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays) with Digital Final Showcase Performances on Friday, June 26, at 10 a.m.–12 p.m. and 1–3 p.m.

WHERE: Six live digital WebEx classes

WHAT: Two weeks of free, online theatre training in the following tracks (participants can enroll in one or both):
Performance and Musical Theatre (MWF, 10 a.m.–12 p.m.): Acting Audition Techniques, Musical Theatre Auditions, Talk with Theatre Professionals, One-on-One Coaching and The Business of Theatre
Technical Theatre and Design (MWF, 1 p.m.–3 p.m.): Technical Theatre Set Design, Sound Design, Costume Design, Talk with Theatre Professionals, One-on-One Coaching and The Business of Theatre
WHO: Students (ages 12–19) of all skill levels and backgrounds, no prior training required. Classes are designed to accommodate and welcome students of varying abilities.
