2020 July 4th Celebration! Every year, Sandy City celebrates Independence Day with a variety of activities throughout the day at Sandy's Promenade. Plan to celebrate July 4 with Sandy this year with entertainment throughout the day on the main stage, an evening concert, the Youth Arts, the promenade parade, the Sandy Classic 5k, and so much more.

Spikeball is Back: Spikeball is a fun for any age or fitness level sport! It combines the teamwork of volleyball, the hand-eye coordination of four square, and the physicality of a cardio workout. The two-on-two game is played with a small rubber ball and an elastic net stretched tight over a plastic rim. Come test your skills at the annual Sandy July 4th spikeball tournament.

Youth Arts Festival : 4th of July crafts, sand sculpting, and face painting! Participa­tion at this crafty tent is FREE for youth (4-12 year olds).

-The 4th of July is the biggest event we put on every year. Anywhere from 30,00 to 40,000 people show up throughout the day each year
-We have around 70 vendor booths, food trucks and a kids craft tent
-Other entertainment includes inflatable rides for kids, a BMX show, Police K-9 show, Medical Life Flight helicopter, Spikeball tournament, a 5K race in the morning and our parade
-We will also have 6-7 live bands playing on the stage throughout the day as well as our main stage band that will go on at 8:00 PM
