John Flanders's recordings have received critical and popular acclaim, leading to his reputation as a composer, arranger, and bandleader of note. He has performed the National Anthem solo at NBA games, he performs with the Utah Symphony, and has toured Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland. He has performed with The Temptations, Billy Preston, Solomon Burke, Wayne Newton, Frankie Avalon, Rodney Dangerfield, Don Rickles, Patty Andrews, Sam Moore, Ben Folds, Idina Menzel, Elllis Hall,and many others.

His fusion-swing project,"DoubleHelix"was named best jazz group in Utah after its debut in 2001 and went on to release four cds featuring national jazz guests such as percussionist Alex Acuna (Weather Report), bassists Will Lee (Brecker Brothers, Dave Letterman), Mike Miller (Chick Corea, Yellowjackets), pianist Mitchel Forman (Pat Metheny, Jack Dejonette) and others.

He traveled the world performing on Holland America and NCL cruise lines. John performs on tenor, alto sax, clarinet and flute as well as bass clarinet, piccolo, baritone sax, soprano saxes, and keyboards. Originally from Canton Ohio, John graduated from Ohio State University and studied theory and jazz at the University of Connecticut.

Anthony Phan, piano and trumpet, is a Salt Laker, alumnus of Highland High School and Brigham Young University. He privately studied piano, trumpet, organ, composition, and improvisation. At the age of twelve he performed a solo piano tour of Ukraine. He has since toured for domestic and foreign events. He has been a part of more than two dozen bands spanning jazz, gospel, rock, country, hip-hop, reggae, and various other genres. He has composed, arranged, recorded, produced, and performed on multiple albums including several original solo recordings. He is a linguist, author, and graphic artist.
