Finally, a theatre is ready to provide a fun, entertaining, clean, and safe escape for adults and children alike. Approximately 40 minutes. Just long enough to get you out of the house and short enough to make you feel comfortable sitting in a theatre.
“Theatre” comes from the Greeks, meaning “the seeing place.”  It is a place people come to see truths about life; and, The Parker Theatre’s Corona Conundrum certainly offers hilarious truths everyone can relate to during this pandemic.
Written, rehearsed, and produced by a collaboration of actors, directors, and other creative artists within only a few short weeks, Corona Conundrum follows the lives of very average people trying their best to thrive in very unaverage times.  From the woes of dating during a time of social distancing, to the struggle of never knowing if you will find toilet paper when you most need it.
The cast and crew is a stellar collection of very real people, similarly surviving a self-quarantined life and eager to safely be back out doing what they love.
Lexie Thomsen- “I’m excited to act on stage again no matter how many feet away my scene partner is.”
Bryson Dumas- “‘Normal,’ for me, means entertaining people. I am more than ready to get back to what I love: being on stage and creating something people can laugh at.”
Meighan Smith- “They say ‘Art imitates life.’ And boy, what a crazy life we’re imitating! Corona Conundrum is an absurd take on daily life in lockdown. It’s funny because it’s true.”
Brinton Wilkins- “Knuckles are raw from hand washing. Body and mind are itching to get back on the stage.”
Spencer Hohl- “The virus will tire us. Now come admire us!”
Katie Jones- “We can’t wait for people to come watch this hilarious show. We put our hearts into creating it. And, admittedly, we are theatre people and need constant validation from the public. So, that also.”
Artistic Director Joanne Parker - I’m so excited to open the doors to our beautiful theatre safely. We miss our audiences and so we’ve adapted to the conditions safely so we can have a wonderful laugh.
