95th Annual Box Elder County Fair, Concert and Golden Spike Rodeo

“Where Generations Share the Magic”

The Box Elder County Fair and Golden Spike Rodeo committees met this week to determine the course of the 95th Fair, Concert, and Rodeo which will be held August 22 through August 29, 2020 at the Box Elder County Fairgrounds.

This year the fair will feature:

+ The Box Elder Junior Livestock Show
+ The Golden Spike Rodeo held in the rodeo arena with all-new seating
+ A live concert
+ 4H and FFA displays
+ Home Arts displays
+ Amazing fair food

There is no higher priority for Box Elder County than the health and safety of our fair partners, participants, guests, and community. In keeping with state and local guidelines, the following events will not be taking place:

+ Box Elder County fair parade
+ City of Fun carnival
+ Bandstand entertainment
+ Fun Run
+ Commercial exhibits

This is a great opportunity for the Box Elder County community to remember what the Fair is all about. The traditions of community and agriculture and the chance for our youth to see the rewards of their hard work.

The fun begins at the Box Elder County Fair on Saturday August 22, 2020 with a concert benefiting the Utah Honor Flight.  There are exhibit booths of the best down home crafts, food, artwork, photography flowers, fruits and vegetables. Wander through the small animal building to see rabbits, chickens and other exhibited animals. The kids will love it. The youth 4H and FFA livestock exhibit is one of the largest, if not the largest in the state, and there are activities going on all day long, every day. Performing groups entertain at the centrally located bandstand every afternoon and evening, and the best part is it is free. There is no admission charged to attend the fair. If you want to spend money there are business booths, craft booths, carnival rides, food stands, and a rodeo until 11 pm each night.
