2020 Summit County Fair and Rodeo- CANCELLED

June 11, 2020 - Summit County has announced final cancellations and modifications to the 2020 Summit County Fair due to economic and health concerns resulting from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition to previous cancellations, the PRCA Rodeo, the Rodeo Queen Contest, the Little Buckaroo Timed Events, the Little Buckaroo Princess Contest and the Home Arts Exhibit will be canceled in 2020. The Summit County Jr. Livestock Show and Sale and the Miss Summit County Pageant will be held in modified formats to be announced in coming weeks. The USU Extension Office will also recognize 4-H Fair Entries, details to be announced.

The Summit County Fair is held annually during the first full week of August. It's a traditional small town county fair with cowboys and bucking broncos, a carnival midway, beauty queens, home canned goods, flowers, vegetables, and more. Events are held throughout Summit County and home base is quiet, scenic Coalville, Utah.

The Summit County Fair has been a part of the County’s cultural and social fabric since the early 1900’s. Now over 100 years later, the fair is still an active part of Summit County.
