Please join in Wed. May 27, 2020 at 8pm for a live stream concert by Kevin Flynn and the Svengali Jazz Quartet. They will play songs from their newly released CD “Impressions of Ireland” in which jazz and Irish music are fused together for the enjoyment of jazz lovers and Celtic music lovers alike. With Kevin on saxes and flute, the group will also perform other jazz standards which will feature the talents of Mark Chaney on drums and vocals, Jim Stout on stand up bass, and Dan Waldis on piano. These guys have played with some of the top artists in the country, and have been first call jazz musicians in Utah for decades. The band takes its name Svengali, from a hypnotic character in the French novel "Trilby". In the book, Mr. Svengali could cast his spell on a woman so she could sing beautifully like an angel. The members of the Svengali Jazz Quartet hope to cast a spell with their music for you this Wednesday. Hope you can tune in!
