Durga Puja 2020 is being held virtually this year due to the pandemic. This is the largest cultural event for the Bengali community in the mountain states spread across multiple weekends. The cultural activities draw participation from all sections of the valley. Performers from Bengali community and other local communities participate in these events to showcase their talent.

The events include plethora of cultural programs related to classical Indian dance forms, music, art and literature among others. Programs include Indian Classical Dance, Contemporary Dance, Indian Classical Music, Contemporary Music, Recitals, Drama, Oriental Art and Kid's Program among others. Programs with flavor from various cultures of Indian sub-continent e.g. Odissi, Bharatanatyam, Bihu, Maithili & Modern Fusion dance, Rabindra Sangeet, Nazrul Geeti and Bhatiyani etc. are showcased. Traditional Indian music instruments like Tabla, Harmonium, Tanpura and Dhak are played during these events. Emphasis is given to performance of women & youth talents.
