Note: You do not need to be a Herriman resident to participate in this event!

Each Week in June, we will highlight certain mediums:

~June 1-6: Drawings
(Pencils, chalk or oil pastels, charcoal, markers, crayons, etc)

~June 8-13: Paintings
(Oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, etc)

~June 15-20: Sculptures & Mixed Media
(pottery, wire, origami, mixed media, etc)

~June 22-27: Other & Non-Art Art
(Artwork created with non-art materials, homemade paints or doughs, recycled materials, digital art, etc)

Although we will highlight these mediums during those specific weeks, art pieces of any medium may be submitted during any week in June (while these submissions may not be shared to the HAC Facebook page, they will be posted in the "Herriman Virtual Art Exhibit 2020" photo album).

This virtual exhibit is not a contest, but an opportunity to share creative works with fellow members in our community.

Rules:
*You must submit a picture (no videos, due to photo album limitations) with the following:
~title of art piece
~artist's name (and age for child/youth entries)
~materials used
~1-2 sentence explaining your piece and what it means to you (Please note, these details will accompany your picture in the "Herriman Virtual Art Exhibition" album on HAC's Facebook page).
*Artwork must be submitted via FB private messages to HAC, HAC email (Herrimanartscouncil@gmail.com), or text to Amanda Kay 480-665-6725.
*Artwork must have been done during COVID crisis (since roughly February, 2020)
*No photography - we will hold another event for such submissions.
*Submissions do not have to be COVID-themed.
*Up to 3 submission per medium, please.

All pictures received during this month will be placed into the "Herriman Virtual Art Exhibition" album on the Herriman Arts Council page. By submitting these pictures, you are giving HAC permission to share and save your work. You will always be given credit!
