How to Dismantle Racism in Ballet

Leading this important conversation will be Elizabeth Stordeur Pryor, Associate Professor of History at Smith College, who specializes in 19th-century U.S. history and race.

Joining her is Ballet West First Soloist Katlyn Addison, Duncan Cooper, Master Dance Teacher and Choreographer, Gregory Robinson, Master Teacher at Dayton Dance Conservatory, and Roni K. White, MS, NCC, LGPC, a Certified Counselor.

The conversation will explore the history of discrimination in the dance field, and offer an approach to eliminating systemic racism in ballet.
