Neighborhood Naturalist for Kids!- Weeds and Wildflowers

Neighborhood Naturalist for Kids!- Weeds and Wildflowers

Presented by Natural History Museum of Utah at Online/Virtual Space

At the Natural History Museum of Utah we will be exploring new topics all summer long, introducing you to local naturalists and scientists, learning more about our nearby nature, sharing fun activities you can do outside, and even connecting you with research happening right here at NHMU.

Become a Neighborhood Naturalist with Weeds and Wildflowers! The moment you walk out of your door you are surrounded by plants. Some plants we might call weeds and others are adored as wild flowers. How can we tell the difference or is there a difference? Tour nature all around you and actively engage with different local and nonnative plants!

A new naturalist topic will be launched on the NHMU Summer@Home website every 2 weeks June through August. This program is FREE for the whole family. Make sure to check out other free and paid Summer@Home offerings. It is time to start learning and adventuring into your nearby nature!
