This class is an intro to the design program Fusion 360, by Autodesk. Fusion 360 is a highly advanced and sophisticated design software that is used by thousands of companies and designers across the world. It can be used to design products or generate files for 3D printing, CNC wood or metal milling, Laser Cutting, and much more!
This class will cover the basics of using this program and get participants ready to start designing their first simple files. Topics covered will include:
Setting up your workspace
Drawing basic shapes
Working with text
Manipulating and sizing shapes
Placing and manipulating holes
Working with Parameters
Saving and exporting files
Maneuvering through the program
IMPORTANT NOTES:

Downloading and installing the program will not be included in the class so it will be assumed that all attendees will have the program downloaded and installed prior to the start of class if they wish to follow along. If you have issues installing or downloading the program, log onto the video call 15 minutes early to get help.
This class is an online course. Attendees will be sent an invite prior to the start of class and will be able to join into a video-conference screen share. Webcam is not required, but a microphone will be necessary if you wish to participate.
