This year, Craft Lake City is taking the virtual world by storm by pioneering a never-before-seen, innovative and interactive VIRTUAL Kid Row program at the 12th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival Presented By Harmons
Support young creatives with Kid Row, a special program designed to showcase handmade items crafted by Utah-based makers ages 14 and under! This year, Craft Lake City is taking the virtual world by storm by pioneering a never-before-seen, innovative and interactive VIRTUAL Kid Row program at the 12th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival Presented By Harmons!
The DIY Festival is Utah’s largest three-day arts festival created by locals, for locals, celebrating all things local. More than 200 local kid artisans, crafters, makers, STEM exhibitors, food creators and performers participate in the DIY Festival. This year, members of the public can support Kid Row creatives in a new and exciting way.
In the virtual environment, attendees will get to create their own avatar, shop handmade products with friends, and communicate directly with Kid Row makers and their parents, all while having the same feeling of fun you would experience at a live, packed-festival event. Not comfortable with a virtual reality experience? We’ll have a more straightforward, online shopping experience as well.
Typically, general admission tickets are required to attend Kid Row at the Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival. This year, the Craft Lake City team is taking a different approach. Paid admission will not be required to attend; rather, Craft Lake City is asking all attendees to “pay what you can.”
All interested Kid Row attendees may register for the Virtual DIY Festival at vitualdiyfestival.com to receive updates and digital calendar invites. See you in the virtual world!
