Our teen entrepreneurship competition, Mind Riot, is an annual highlight for us at The Leo and despite the changing world around us, we knew we had to make it happen in 2020. So this year, Mind Riot is going digital! We’ve created a new, two-Saturday format packed with online workshops, panels, team collaboration and a digital showcase where teens create and develop real ideas that can change the world (and compete to win cash prizes!).

Saturday, October 17th
The first day of Mind Riot teams will meet with their mentors and participate in online workshops and activities via Zoom. Team will also learn the basics of the 3D environment that will be used for their virtual presentations!

October 19th – 23rd
Throughout the week teams will work on their virtual presentations. In the 3D environment teams will curate an experience to highlight their entrepreneurial pitch. Mentors will do a quick check in at one point during the week to offer support.

Saturday, October 24th
The final day of Mind Riot is when students present their solutions in a virtual environment to a panel of judges – and celebrate their success. Mind Riot is a transformational event that allows participants to create new friendships, begin building a professional network, and solve a problem they care about along the way.
