Provo Open Air Art Show

Provo Open Air Art Show

Presented by Provo Parks and Recreation at Provo Veterans Memorial Park

Come appreciate some local art in a huge, social-distancing friendly outdoor art gallery at Memorial Park. Open Air Art will be August 28-29 from 5-8 PM each evening.

We've hired a dozen local artists to create large, 3D art installations that we will display on a trail throughout the park. Come to enjoy a variety of pieces, including prop design, quilting, lettering, painting, recycled material sculptures, and much more.

Don't worry, you can get involved with the art too! A portion of road will be marked off for the creation of a community chalk street mural. Provo City Events will provide one piece of chalk per person so that anyone and everyone can add their flair to our beautiful street mosaic of fun!

Friday night will be our Art Advocacy Night. Community organizations will be on-site providing information about ways to get involved in the local art community, including representatives from painting, dance, theater, singing, art classes, and more! Stay tuned for a list of organizations.

Saturday night will be our performance night. Our main stage will feature dance, poetry, song and more. Stay tuned for performance details. Social-distancing circles will be painted around the stage to ensure that passing audience members will be safely distanced from other households.

Food Trucks:
Friday: Taco Burrito Express | Kona Ice
Saturday: Fatty Tuna | Kona Ice

Finally, Provo City Events will be handing out a limited-time sticker, specific to the Open Air Art event only. Make sure to grab yours before they are gone!
