October 22, 2020 to April 4, 2021
Antarctic Dinosaurs will transport you to the most inhospitable and isolated continent on Earth: Antarctica. There, paleontologists have discovered fossils of dinosaurs and other animals that roamed a prehistoric world vastly different from the frozen landscape we know today.
A once lush, thriving continent was home to species of dinosaurs, mammal relatives, and amphibians only recently discovered by expeditions entering the Antarctic Circle. The fossils these scientists found, the challenges they faced, and the discoveries they made are now here for you to see at the Natural History Museum of Utah.
This immersive exhibition will bring you face to face with towering Antarctic dinosaurs, let you try out the tools used to extract the fossils, and see how the study of these specimens has shed light on our planet's ever-changing climate and geology.
Join the thrilling adventure in Antarctic Dinosaurs starting October 22. It is included with Museum admission, but ticket reservations are required.
