Suicide Prevention Discussion- VIRTUAL

Presented by Alta Community Enrichment at Online/Virtual Space

Each day, 132 people die by suicide in the United States. In 2018 alone, an estimated 1.4 million attempted suicide. Utah has the 5th highest suicide rate in the United States. This has to stop.

Join Sarah Snedaker, a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern and Alta community member, Charlene Smith LCSW, for a Suicide Prevention Discussion. Together we will discuss the common causes of suicidality, how to recognize the warning signs that someone may be contemplating suicide, and how to offer hope and help to someone in crisis. All of us can help prevent suicide.
