Celebrate regional artists and their expressions of Great Salt Lake in the categories of visual arts, literary arts, movement, and sound.
FRIENDS of Great Salt Lake's Alfred Lambourne Arts Program showcases artistic expressions of Great Salt Lake in the categories of visual arts, literary arts, movement, and sound. The Program takes its name from the renowned painter and writer, Alfred Lambourne (1850-1926), who is remembered for his dozens of paintings and sketches of Great Salt Lake along with his memoir, "Pictures of an Inland Sea," which recounts his time living on Great Salt Lake's Gunnison Island.
Typically we gather during the first week of September to experience the artistic submissions in person; however, in order to protect the health and safety of all involved, this year we've assembled a virtual galley catalog instead.
