POSTPONED The Great Turkey Escape

POSTPONED The Great Turkey Escape

Presented by Gale Center of History and Culture at Gale Center of History and Culture

Thanksgiving has been a holiday in the United States for generations. We think of the “first” feast taking place in 1621 at Plymouth. But like all holidays, it has changed a lot over time, and the origin of some of the “facts” about the holiday may surprise you!

The Great Turkey Escape is the Gale Center's November Museum Mashup activity. Museum Mashup is a series of exhibit-based mission activities for families of all ages. Each mission explores an exhibit or educational topic through fun, hands-on challenges. There are five activities plus a monthly rotating activity!

To allow for social distancing, only one group can do a mission at a time, following a one-way path through the exhibit. All hands-on props will be sanitized between groups.
Museum Mashup is free! Visitors must make a reservation in advance at sjc.activityreg.com. No walk-ins allowed, sorry.

Visit the Gale Center’s website for more information.

Museum Mashup at the Gale Center of History and Culture are funded in part by Salt Lake County Zoo, Arts, & Parks. Thank you!
