Washington City leadership and staff would like to formally invite the community to come attend this year's Veterans Day Celebration on November 11th. Please help honor and support the community's military men and women for their service and dedication to this great country called America, as Francis Scott Key said “the land of the free and the home of the brave”. This day of remembrance will take place at Veterans Park located at 75 E Telegraph St. Washington, UT 84780.

At 9:30 AM come enjoy the DSU Bison Unveiling "Blazing Freedom" a bison that personifies the spirit of military service in its coloring and artistic renditions at a new site designed for it across the street from Mike’s Barbershop.

At 11 AM enjoy the sight of the communities children, men, and women as they parade down Telegraph street showing their love and respect for the Military recognizing veterans young and old. Immediately following the parade please head to the Veterans Memorial Plaza where a program will take place that will embody the community's love and support for the Veterans of Washington County and the Country. This day is a wonderful opportunity to come together and showcase the greatness of being united. Please save the date inviting family and friends and come help make this day memorable for all.
