Sin Senas Particulares (Identifying Features)- Magdalena hasn’t heard from her son in months—not since he left their town to cross the border into the United States. The authorities want her to sign her son’s death certificate, but an encounter with a bereaved parent makes Magdalena realize that she cannot live without knowing his fate. She begins an odyssey across Mexico, though areas of violence and desolation, chasing any available lead.

What Happened to the Bees-
After millions of bees suddenly died in Campeche, México, the Mayan beekeeping communities and their representatives decided to organize to find the cause and confront the authorities and the transnational company Monsanto.

Yib-
In an autonomous zone between Mexico and Guatemala, where the border did not exist before and today seems impassable, two eleven-year-old girls with Mayan roots try to change their lives with music. The two unequal cousins Alejandra and Aleyda have very different ideas of future and origin.
