Improve your drawing skills in this class for teens and adults.
THURSDAYS -- 6:30-8:30 PM
This class will include working with different drawing and sketching mediums such as pencils (2H-6B), charcoal (conte 1710B), Nupastel, and pastels Subjects covered will include composition, value organization, interpretation, and edge manipulation. Come learn how to take your drawings from amateur to polished fine art finishes! Projects will include portraits, landscapes, and still lifes. We will work mostly from observation, rather than photo reference (exception being landscapes). This is a 15-week virtual class beginning on September 3rd.
This class is available to attend in-person or virtually via Zoom conference, the class time will be the same for all students regardless of how they wish to attend. All virtual streams will be recorded and available on your class page which will be password protected. Instructions to access the Zoom meetings, class recordings, and other class resources will be sent via email as we near the start of the semester. All students attending the class in person must follow the protocols put in place to assure the safety of staff and students.
