The 2020 holiday season presents a real challenge for a chorus like the Beehive Statesmen Barbershop Chorus.  Motivated by the joy of joining with others in harmonious song, the chorus has historically presented a free Annual Christmas Show in a rich 4-part harmony barbershop men’s a’Cappella tradition and also provided concerts to a variety of senior and assisted living centers throughout each year and holiday season!  In an effort to continue this tradition in spite of the restrictions caused by the Covid-19 virus, the Statesmen have created a virtual concert to be enjoyed by one and all online titled 'The Comfort of Christmas'.  This year’s concert will include a wonderful collection of many of your holiday favorites guaranteed to delight! The concert will also feature our Chapter’s Quartets: 4th Street, Gray Matters, SLiC City, and Beehive Blend.

Founded in 1948, this 25-person chorus continues the uniquely American tradition of barbershop music in a manner guaranteed to appeal to music lovers of all ages. Under the direction of Paul Barlow and Chris Wiggens, the Beehive Statesmen Barbershop Chorus has been keeping alive the Barbershop Men’s a’Cappella tradition and has entertained residents all over the Salt Lake City Metro area for 75 years! Through their commitment to fellowship through music the chorus has performed for numerous audiences throughout the Salt Lake region and has particularly enjoyed providing entertainment to residents of various independent and assisted living facilities. They hope that you will enjoy this celebration of the uniquely American barbershop musical sound in this concert that will appeal to audiences of all ages.
