Over the past year, students have persevered through the pandemic and the challenges of online school to write, produce and edit two documentary films and two narrative films. Join us in celebrating the hard work of these local, upcoming filmmakers.

The world premiere of Fitrah, A-Link, American Mask, and Hope will be hosted online through a partnership with Spy Hop and Utah Film Center on December 1 at 7 PM (MST). Student filmmakers and their mentors will be a part of this live online event and there will be a short Q&A after each film. This year’s films delve into a variety of topics including sci-fi, the politics of mask wearing, female muslim artists, and Syrian refugees.
