The Pond Town Christmas Lighting will be held on November 27th, at 6:00 PM. However, out of an abundance of caution and based on the recommendations of the state of Utah, Utah County Health Department, and Salem's own COVID-19 Safety and Response committee, Salem City will be taking extra precautions to prevent the spread and exposure to the COVID-19 virus for those who attend. As such, the event will look a little bit different this year. There will be no formal ceremony and we will not be handing out donuts or hot chocolate.

However, Santa is making an appearance and will be waving from the bridge and music will line the pond. Santa can't visit with kids this year up close, but he would love to hear the shouts of hello from our cars. Salem City encourages residents to circle the pond in their cars counter-clockwise. If you walk to the pond, be mindful to wear a mask and socially distance, and keep your groups under 10 people.

We look forward to resuming this time-honored event as normal next year, but until then, come view the lights and enjoy the music and Santa.
