Master Magician: Wonder and Wizardry for a New Year
With with Rhett Guter

If you haven’t already seen Rhett bringing people’s jaws to the floor, head to his website and have a look for yourself. He’ll make you think more than twice about what’s possible with a deck of cards…or your own phone. Rhett doesn’t so much show you tricks as show you his world, magical, impossible—it’s whatever he wants it to be, and he shares it with you in front of your very eyes. He’s been stunning the people of Manhattan for years…get ready for Rhett.

He was 12 years old when he performed his first magic trick in middle school. He was hooked. It wasn’t long before he ravaged every book on magic at the local library. Hungry for more, he connected with HIS magic mentor – Dave. Dave helped him cultivate his talents for 6 years.

“I’ll never forget my first conversation with Dave as I told him I wanted to be like Lance Burton. Dave slyly grinned. He began teaching me card manipulations, coin tricks, and sleight of hand with everyday objects. Dave introduced me to the world of Magic but really, the world of performing arts. Getting up in front of a crowd, captivating them with an illusion that asked them to believe, if only for a moment, that the laws of the universe could possibly be altered. That was the real magic.”

Magic lead to Theatre, Theatre led to Musical Theatre and Musical Theatre led Rhett to New York. He has performed as and Actor, Dancer, Singer and Magician all over the world. But it all started with Magic.
