Ginger Bess is coming back to her Brigham City home town to present a Christmas Concert Friday December 18 at the Fine Arts Center, 58 South 100 West in Brigham City.  Come join us and add to your Christmas spirit as  Bess uses her rich vintage jazz voice to share the most beloved holiday Classics. Bess and her jazz band have performed on stages from coast to coast with a wealth of beautiful jazz standards. Her voice has been rivaled with that of Rosemary Clooney. Caressing a vintage microphone,  Ginger mixes the standards with, a bubbly personality, surprises, and her own favorites.

Ginger Bess is a proud member of Actor’s Equity. She recently finished performing the role of Esther in the pre-Broadway production of A Wall Apart by Lord Graham Russell of Air Supply. Bess received national recognition as the mezzo-soprano soloist in Berstein’s Mass as performed by the Utah Symphony.  She has been featured in record breaking runs of Les Miserables,  Rent, and Sunset Blvd. Favorite Regional productions have included: Svetlana (Chess),Magenta (Rocky Horror Show),Baker’s Wife (Into The Woods), Clara (Passion), Roxie Hart (Chicago),Mary Magdalene (Jesus Christ Superstar), Mrs. Walker (Tommy), Susan (Tick Tick Boom), Betty Haynes (White Christmas), and Sally Bowles (Cabaret). She also tours the country with her vintage jazz band.  She is currently performing and teaching voice lessons in the Boston area.

Bess will be accompanied by Pioneer Theater House  drummer James Clark  from Clearfield, Utah  and accomplished pianist Nicholas Maughan who is the rehearsal accompanist for Ballet West and has directed all over the state.
