Utah Opera has presented live professional opera in Salt Lake City since 1979. The company presents its regular season in the Capitol Theatre, and its Resident Artists perform in community venues and schools around the states. The Resident Artists come to Utah through national auditions and spend 9 months in continued training and performance with the company. They are also featured this fall as the soloists in Utah Symphony”s Virtual Messiah, available via USUO On Demand.
