SAVE THE DATE!

Opens to the Public:

SATURDAY FEBRUARY 13, 2021

The 34th annual Robert N. and Peggy Sears Dixie Invitational Art Show & Sale will be alive with beautiful artwork, as usual!

Due to Covid-19 we are protecting our visitors by implementing safety precautions to protect our visitors and our staff. Visitors will need to wear a mask to completely cover nose and mouth, plus allow for social distancing. The gala day changes will reflect the same concern.

The live symposium has been canceled; however, it will be replaced by a wonderful video about last year’s purchase prize winner, Kim Whitesides, inside the Sears for your enjoyment. The Invitational preview has been cancelled.

We invite everyone to visit the Invitational public opening Saturday, February 13. The hours make it possible for buyers and visitors to come during our special hours.

Mon-Sat 10 am – 6 pm.

Art will be available for sale in the Sears Art Museum and on the website.

This is our only fundraiser to keep the Sears Art Museum open. We invite buyers to support us with a donation that is tax deductible.

Every year on President's Day weekend, Dixie State University hosts it's prestigious Robert N. and Peggy Sears Dixie Invitational Art Show & Sale. We proudly showcase over 100 artists from all over the West and more than 200 traditional, contemporary, and sculptural pieces of artwork.

The art show was founded by Robert N. Sears, who passed away in May 1995. Sears, a retired vice president of Phillips Petroleum, worked tirelessly to establish a quality art invitational at the University which has become one of the most popular, well-attended exhibits in the state of Utah.
