Welcome to our new Natural Voices Book Club! This club will be led by educators at Tracy Aviary's Jordan River Nature Center and will focus on exploring modern nature writing by diverse authors. This book club is free and open to all!

January's book pick is World of Wonders: In Praise of Fireflies, Whale Sharks, and Other Astonishments by Aimee Nezhukumatathil, a book of essays that celebrate specific organisms and their ties to the author's family, culture, and sense of place.

Read every essay, or pick and choose a few - you don't need to read the book cover-to-cover to attend and enjoy our discussion! January's meeting will be on Zoom with the hope that we can meet outdoors and in-person in the spring.
