Grab your partner for some social (distanced) dance lessons! Have you ever wanted to add a few more moves to your dancefloor portfolio? Grab your partner and join us in the Rockwell Listening Room for a partnered salsa lesson!

Autumn Bear is a Colorado native who comes to Park City by way of New York City. Autumn studied all Latin and Smooth ballroom dances and specializes in social dances such as West Coast Swing and Salsa. Autumn worked as a professional partner dancer for a decade in New York City and was lucky enough to travel the world to teach dance. She loves sharing the art of partner dancing and specifically loves to bring new people in to find ways to enjoy music, express themselves, and meet a supportive and inclusive community.

This is a 21-and-up event with extremely limited admittance. Doors open at 6 p.m., and Salsa Dance with Autumn Bear begins promptly at 7 p.m. The one-hour class is capped off with 30 extra minutes of optional free-dance time.

Due to COVID, this is a partnered event only; you must sign up as a couple. Each couple will be assigned a delineated space from which to receive instruction and practice their moves a safe distance from others. Guests may only "dance with the one who brought you". Masking is mandatory at all times for all participants, who are encouraged to sign up only with individuals from their immediate household.

Precautions we are taking to ensure everyone's safety: This is a COVID-conscious gathering. Your party will be assigned to a space that is a minimum of six feet away from other groups in the Rockwell Listening Room, on the ground floor of The Rock Building at 268 Main Street, which features a brand-new air-purification feature. Tables are sanitized, and hand sanitizer is available throughout the room. Guests are required to wear their masks at all times. We follow all Summit County COVID-19 guidelines.
