Murray City Cultural Arts Presents 2021 Storytelling Residencies.
WHAT:
Find and bring a potential story (3-7) minutes to the first workshop. *Don’t worry if trouble finding a story, stories can be obtained during first workshop.
Learn storytelling skills and share in a zoom workshop setting to polish story.
Practice at home!
Participate in preliminary judging. 2 finalists per grade chosen for final city wide showcase.
**Story Crossroads, a county festival, is planned for May 11, 2021 at Murray Park and other county facilities. Murray will be selecting up to 15 finalists from the Showcase to participate.
*This is a great opportunity and fun way for children, teens, and adults to develop story writing and storytelling skills! Residencies are open to Murray residents or students who attend a school within the Murray City boundaries.

Email Registration Form before the first day of workshop (please try to attend all days in assigned Residency). Registration Form is available on the Murray City Website under Murray Storytelling Showcase in Cultural Arts (www.murray.utah.gov). You can either mail in Registration Form to Murray Parks & Rec Office (296 E Murray Park Ave, Murray, Utah 84107), email form to klindquist@murray.utah.gov or email to Professional Storyteller who will be leading the Residency.
