H2O Today in Context | Exploring the Jordan River

Presented by Tracy Aviary and Utah Humanities at James Madison Oxbow Park

Join us in partnership with the Tracy Aviary at the Jordan River Nature Center for a moderated walk between the Nature Center and the Utah Cultural Celebration Center. This will include a docent tour of the exhibits, followed by a guided nature walk along the Jordan River.  This event is limited to 12 participants in each time slot. This event accompanies H2O Today, an exhibition organized by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service that is touring Utah in partnership with Utah Humanities and West Valley Arts. The tour is part of Think Water Utah, a statewide collaboration and conversation on the critical topic of water presented by Utah Humanities and its partners. H2O Today was adapted from an exhibition organized by the American Museum of Natural History (New York) and the Science Museum of Minnesota (St. Paul), in collaboration with Great Lakes Science Center (Cleveland), Field Museum (Chicago), Instituto Sangari (Sao Paulo), National Museum of Australia (Canberra), Royal Ontario Museum (Toronto), San Diego Natural History Museum, and Science Centre Singapore.
