The Electric Film Series: Four Films from the Silent Era with Live Piano by Tami Creamer

FMASU presents The Electric Film Series - A Journey Through Film: Volume I. We're taking audiences through over a century in film and it's completely FREE for the community.
The film series starts off the new year with a look at the first two decades of the 1900s--

The 1900s:

A TRIP TO THE MOON (1902)

Four short films that represent the silent era with live piano accompaniment by wonderful award-winning and local musician, Tami Creamer. Our Special Guest speaker to introduce the 1900s decade will be Filmmaker, DSU Professor, and Director of DocUtah, Phil Tuckett. The 1920s decade films will be introed Writer, Film Enthusiast, and Founder of JakCine Entertainment, Jason Jackson. Among the legendary names associated with some of these films; Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton, and Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle. This will be a unique cinematic experience you won't want to miss!

This unforgettable evening will be followed by what is sure to be an insightful post-screening discussion.

Be sure to come to the screening early and order an optional Riggatti's food item to enjoy following the movie.

*Safety precautions will be taken to meet Covid guidelines. We will also have masks at the event if you forget yours.

Directly following the Film Presentation(6 PM - 7:30 PM), there will be an open discussion on the film led by one of the organizers and guest speakers (7:30 PM - 9 PM).
