UVU Department of Music presents ‘Chamber Choir: Songs of the Renaissance’
To facilitate small group learning during the epidemic, members of the Chamber Choir have learned one-to-a-part chamber music that they will present for an evening of motets and madrigals. Ranging from glorious motets by Medieval composers Guillaume Dufay and John Dunstable to scandalous madrigals by Tudor period Renaissance composers Thomas Weelkes and Jacob Arcadelt, this collection of short songs is full of passion, wit, and beauty.
*In-person performances at The Noorda Center may be attended by only current UVU students, faculty, and staff. A live-streaming viewing option is available to all members of the general public. Access links to the event will be emailed to ticket holders for the night of the performance.
