Sundance Institute is bringing the Utah community together for a FREE online screening of Life in a Day 2020, presented by YouTube Originals, from Academy Award-winning documentary filmmaker Kevin Macdonald and executive producer Ridley Scott (Blade Runner, Alien, Thelma & Louise). The screening will follow with a special live Q&A.

Life in a Day 2020 is an extremely ambitious crowdsourced documentary compiled from 15,000 hours of footage submitted from 192 countries. It unites individuals from around the world and creates a feeling of connectivity and a sense of belonging. It’s a reminder that there’s real beauty in our everyday lives, even though it might not always seem that way.

We would like to dedicate this community presentation of Life in a Day 2020 to our state’s frontline workers, who have worked tirelessly to help keep us safe and our essential services running over the past year.
