Alta Earth Day 2021

Alta Earth Day 2021

Presented by Alta Community Enrichment and Alta Ski Area and Alta Environmental Center at Alta Ski Area

Join Alta for its 12th annual community Alta Earth Day on Saturday, April 17th, 2021. This event encourages environmental stewardship, responsible recreation and awareness of the relationship between climate change and the future of the ski industry in Little Cottonwood Canyon and beyond. The day’s celebrations will feature events with our non-profit partners to get out into our beautiful mountain environment and gain some knowledge. Although this year’s event will differ from year’s past without on the snow vendors, we still aim to connect our community with our environment.

Snowshoe with a Naturalist from Cottonwood Canyons Foundation: Look for animal tracks and learn about the wildlife that left them, all while surrounded by some of Utah’s most beautiful mountains. 1:00 – 3:00 PM. Registration currently full, email lhaven@cottonwoodanyons.org to get on the waitlist.
Birding on Skis with Tracy Aviary: Join Tracy Aviary’s expert birders this winter on skis in search of our feathered friends that call Alta home. 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Register at the link Register here.
