"We would do well to slow down a little." ~ Dieter F. Uchtdorf
On Saturday, April 10, the MOA joins dozens of museums around the world from BYU to Bordeaux in celebrating Slow Art Day, a chance to take your time soaking in works of art slowly. You’ll be surprised what you learn about our collection (and yourself)!
The process is simple: come to the MOA and pick up our “Slow Looking: Self-Guided Gallery Experience” brochure, which includes 4 unique activities to help you get the most out of your Slow Art Day experience.
As you do so, you’ll make discoveries about these artworks that you’ve never noticed before, and you’ll realize just how much you enjoy contemplating these masterpieces.
Afterwards, remember to pick up a special gift at the Front Desk related to the artworks you’ve seen.
