An international dance film festival, featuring live and online screenings and workshops.
Utah Dance Film Festival is an annual international dance film showcase at the SCERA Center for the Arts. UDFF screens and awards films, hosts dance and film workshops, and partners with local businesses and college programs to amplify Utah's performing arts and film production economies.
UDFF hosts an annual international film festival, with live and online screenings May 28-29. During this weekend at the SCERA Center for the Arts, we also offer dance and film workshops from local and international dance and film artists. Our awards showcase features the winning films, and will be online for the 2021 festival.
The workshops featured at the festival are sponsored in part by the Utah Film Commission.
UDFF also hosts a 48 hour film competition, called MOVE. Participants need not use dance, only showcase the limitless potential of human movement. MOVE will be held May 14-16, 2021, and the films created will be screened and adjudicated as part of the film festival the following weekend at the SCERA Center for the Arts.
