Jordan River Trailhead Tree Planting

Jordan River Trailhead Tree Planting

Presented by TreeUtah at Jordan River Trailhead Park

Join TreeUtah volunteers this Saturday to plant trees from 9 to noon at the Jordan River Trailhead Park in West Valley City (near the intersection of Redwood Road and 2320 S).

We will meet at 9am, do a planting demonstration and safety talk, and get planting! We will bring all the tools, trees, soil amendments, safety equipment, light snacks, coffee/tea and trained staff to guide you.

We ask that you plan to wear a mask, wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, sun protection, and clothing you don't mind getting dirty. We will wrap up by or before noon.

Everyone who joins us at this planting will also have the opportunity to take a free spruce seedling home to plant in your own yard, thanks to Dominion Energy and the Arbor Day Foundation (while supplies last)!

Questions? Feel free to call/text 801-573-5685. Please sign up with our registration form so we know to expect you there!
