Don’t buy new, reuse, reuse, reuse! Learn how to modify your clothing for legitimate human usage.

Participants will be given a 20 minute presentation about clothing design, and the potential transformation of useful materials to fulfill one’s unique clothing needs.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own ideas and designs to the project, but a general pattern / idea for adding pockets to clothing, adding reinforcement in key stress points, and the general concepts of sewing repair will be discussed. Hands-on focused. A 20-30 minute lecture, then hands on experience sewing, making mistakes, and being encouraged in a fun environment. All welcome.
