In this figure drawing class for teens and adults, we will work with dynamic poses and character design!
SATURDAYS -- 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Class for Teens and Adults
Our regular Saturday Figure Drawing session will take on a new twist this Spring semester!
We will start in with Quick-sketch basic gestural capture, and progress through proportions and structural blocking in of the figure. Models will be taking on more engaged ACTION Poses and students will be allowed to take photos for their personal study and design libraries. Anatomy focus and exaggeration will be demonstrated to influence and inspire students to transpose their figure studies into Super Hero original designs. Costuming will be discussed and practiced towards the end of the semester. A sketchbook will be a must to workout ideas and experiment with color for tone and mood. Great class for those just getting into figure drawing or those who want to continue their study of the figure with more design concepts added!
