In this intensive figure drawing workshop for teens, students will learn important foundational drawing skills as well as painting with oils.
Figure Academy is an intensive two-week workshop in which students will draw and paint from models for a collective 90 hours. Students will study figure drawing in the morning and figure painting in the afternoon. Daily in-depth critiques help students engage in each other's work and give students personal direction for successive studies. Students are exposed to the works of contemporary figurative artists through presentations and will develop new skills and strong artwork for their portfolios. Our teen program is open for ages 12 - 18, and our adult program is for adults 19 and older.
