Family Arts Festival: Art Staycation Week 1 - Create a Collection of Treasures

Presented by Brigham Young University Museum of Art at Brigham Young University Museum of Art

Embark on a family adventure through our Treasures from the MOA Collection exhibition, where your children will search for clues in masterpieces from around the world. The first 75 to register will also receive free take-home materials to build their very own small treasure chest to store their prized possessions. They’ll be having so much fun, they won’t even realize they’re developing critical thinking skills, honing their problem solving abilities, and exploring new ways to create beautiful artworks of their own!

This annual celebration of creativity helps art lovers of all ages play, create, explore, and more as they interact with some of the finest artworks the MOA has to offer. This year, the Family Arts Festival will be held in six unique sessions from June to August, each with its own free opportunities for children to witness wonderful artworks and create masterpieces of their own. Each session features a different MOA exhibition and a unique art-creation activity, so we welcome you to register for as many as you’d like, then attend any time during the week of each of your sessions. Supplies are limited, so register soon to ensure the artists in your family don’t miss this opportunity to playfully learn new skills!
