Westminster Concert Series 2020-2021 Season Showcase
The Westminster Concert Series presents four concerts featuring the Westminster Music Faculty and students in a diverse array of programs ranging from jazz to contemporary classical. Concerts feature the David Halliday and Westminster Jazz Faculty playing Ellington and Strayhorn; a Vocal Showcase featuring Aubrey Adams-McMillan singing works by Florence Price in duet with Ballet West soloist Katlyn Addison; Chamber works by Brahms and Beethoven performed by Pegsoon Whang, Lun Jiang, Whittney Thomas and Karlyn Bond; and a solo piano concert featuring pianists Jason Hardink, Kimi Kawashima and students playing works by Karen Tanaka, Jeffrey Mumford, Ryuichi Sakamoto and others.
