Free fine arts/crafts festival with 160 visual arts booths, two stages with continuous performances, and 21 food booths. Held at the Cache County Fairgrounds in Logan, Utah. Children’s art yard, plein air contest for painters and photographers.
Summerfest Arts Faire has been presenting fine arts and crafts to the public in a free festival for 37 years, taking place on Father's Day weekend every year. It features juried local, regional, and national artists and performers. The Creation Station, which is a place for children and adults to make art, is staffed by teaching artists and is open daily. The Plein Air Paint Out and Photography Contest opens with registration the Friday before the festival starts. Plein air work is exhibited in an indoor gallery and most of the work is for sale in a silent auction.
Visual arts media include everything from ceramics to woodworking. Performers represent a wide range of styles. Evening performances always feature danceable music. Food booths are also juried by a local committee and feature fair food favorites, ethnic delicacies, and regional foods.
