SLUG Picnic: No Shooting Friends, Joseph, The Anchorage and Decent Animals

Presented by SLUG Magazine at Artspace City Center

As the temperature rises, people are eager to get out after an intense year of staying inside. Luckily, SLUG Picnic Presented by Sparrow Electric is quickly approaching and features three bands eager to get out and perform live once more. The show kicks off with No Shooting Friends, Joseph. Joining are veterans of the local music scene The Anchorage and opener Decent Animals.
The show is on July 31 at the Artspace City Center 230 S. 500 West. Tickets are $5 a piece with picnic seating at 5:30 p.m. and music from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
SLUG Picnic is Sponsored by Sparrow Electric, Taqueria 27, Pulp Lifestyle Kitchen, Dented Brick Distillery, SLC Eatery, Gem City Fine Foods, GREENbike, Squatters Brewing, UTOG Brewing and Liquid Death. The first 20 attendees to arrive will get a free picnic basket with goodies from our sponsors!
There will be a featured food truck to serve up dinner to hungry guests, plus you can shop from local artisans like White Magnolia Studio, Vintage by Chelsey, Moni Ellee Art, Strong Maam Clothes and Treats, Fox and Raven Art and Kissing Whiskey Vintage. There will also be a raffle onsite with all proceeds from the ticket sales going to Under the Umbrella Bookstore.
Tickets for SLUG Picnic are available at slugmag.bigcartel.com, get one for your furry friend while you’re at it! Make sure to bring your own picnic blankets and chairs to get cozy at the event.
